I treasure time with family whether it’s talking over dinner, playing games, watching movies or traveling overseas. I also enjoy outdoor pursuits including biking, hiking, canoeing, camping, and sailing. In the wintertime, I like to go sledding, cross-country skiing, skating or just curling up with a good book and a warm blanket in front of a crackling fire in the fireplace. I appreciate getting to know people from other cultures and am also interested in international medicine and medical missions.
I enjoy meeting and providing care to patients of all ages. It is an honor spending time with each of you and I find I learn as much from them as you do from me. I especially have a soft spot in my heart for teens and young adults. When I’m not caring for patients, I’m usually planning out my next gardening project. I’m always trying to figure out how to redesign the landscape and get more flowers and vegetables in my yard. In addition to gardening, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family. One of our goals is to visit as many National Parks as possible.
My wife, son and daughter take up much of my downtime. I enjoy taking photos of family events, youth sporting events, and travels. You might see me running on trails in the summer, but in the winter, I love a spontaneous game of pond hockey or sledding down steep hills with the neighborhood kids. If I am not outside, the fun of Xbox dancing and gaming may be happening in the welcomed privacy of my home.
